. To work as a member of a team of nurses at UPMC Whitfield Hospital providing high quality, patient centred care for patients and their families.
. To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
. To work closely with nursing colleagues, developing innovative practice within the unit delivering evidence-based care.
. To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to his/her clinical area.
The Nursing Bank at UPMC Whitfield Hospital provides short-term staffing support a wide variety of nursing units such as:
- Cath Lab
- Coronary Care Unit
- Inpatients General
- Inpatients Orthopaedic
The Nurse Bank offers a flexible Roster that will suit each individual’s personal need and the needs of the hospital. The Nursing bank will suit those seeking flexible work arrangements, Retired members of staff or nurses working within another healthcare settings seeking to work additional hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
The post holder must hold the following to fulfil the requirements of this post:
. Be Registered General Nurse with The Nursing and Midwifery Bord of Ireland (NMBI).
