Ms. Caitriona Kirwan

Ms. Kirwan qualified as an ophthalmic surgeon in 2013. She completed a fellowship in eye laser refractive surgery and in paediatric ophthalmology under the mentorship of Professor Michael O’Keeffe. She has also completed a fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology and paediatric & adult strabismus at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto and Toronto Western Hospital where she was awarded the prize for best ophthalmology fellow.

Ms. Kirwan is actively involved in research focused on paediatric eye problems and adult eye laser surgery. She is widely published and has presented her research findings at both national and international meetings.
