Dr. Cian Lolait

Professional ProfileDr. Lolait has joined the cardiology department at UPMC Aut Even Hospital. He is also a Consultant Cardiologist based at St .Luke’s General Hospital, Carlow and Kilkenny.
Dr. Cian Lolait graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2013 and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physician of Ireland (MRCPI) in 2016. He subsequently completed Higher Specialist Training in Cardiology at Tallaght University Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Connolly Hospital and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Following this, he undertook a one year fellowship in Interventional cardiology in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, gaining experience in both coronary and structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He was awarded his Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) in Cardiology and General Internal Medicine in 2024.
Dr. Lolait subsequently worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at Naas General and Tallaght University Hospital before being appointed as Consultant Cardiologist in St Luke’s General Hospital in 2026.
Dr. Lolait has authored and co-authored multiple scientific publications in leading cardiology and medical journals, with a particular interest in Cardiac CT. He is strongly committed to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training and is a registered trainer with RCPI.
