Dr. Awad Mohamed

Professional ProfileDr. Mohamed completed his medical and cardiology training in Ireland. From 1994 to 1998, he underwent professional general medical training, culminating in the attainment of the MRCP (UK.). He then moved to the Heart and Lung Institute at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he earned a Master of Science in Cardiology from Imperial College in 1999. Following this, he joined the cardiology training program meat St. James’s Hospital and completed another Masters of Science in Cardiology and an MD degree from Trinity College Dublin.
Dr. Mohamed has served as one of the directors of EuroPCR through Africa PCR and has been the past chairperson of the Pan-African Society for Interventional Cardiology. He has participated in numerous live transmissions of educational coronary intervention courses and has published peer-reviewed articles in various medical and cardiology journals. He has presented at numerous national and international scientific meetings, including live case transmissions.
