Professional ProfileMr. Paul Murphy graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) in June 1988 and interned at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He completed his basic surgical training in 1992, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (RCSI) and received a Masters of Medical Science in the same year.
Mr. Murphy gained entry onto the Senior Registrar programme in 1997 and passed his fellowship examinations in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in 1998. He entered into the Specialist Register of Trauma and Orthopaedics in January 2000.
Mr. Murphy undertook further fellowship training at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, encompassing all aspects of primary and revision hip and knee joint surgery.
