Mr. Murali Krishna Sayana

Mr. Sayana graduated from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India in 1996. He went on to pursue his Master of Surgery in Trauma & Orthopaedics in Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad. Mr. Sayana worked in U.K. until 2006 and moved to Ireland having been appointed as a SSPR on the Orthopaedic higher surgical training (HST) programme with RCSI.

After successful completion of FRCS (Tr & Orth) and the HST, Mr. Sayana conducted his post-CCST Fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, U.K., with a special interest in hip and knee Arthroplasty.

Mr. Sayana has more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals, of which 25 are Pubmed indexed. He also coauthored nine book chapters. and has peer-reviewed for journals like SURGEON, CORR (Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research), IJMS (Irish Journal of Medical Sciences) and Biomed Central-Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Mr. Sayana was the EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology) traveling fellow representing IOA (Irish Orthopaedic Association) at the EFORT Autumn traveling fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, UK in 2011.
