Professional ProfileDr. Suleiman completed his basic medical training in Ireland. He obtained MRCPI in 2011 and then completed general nephrology training while rotating through major teaching hospitals in Ireland, including University Hospital Waterford and Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
Upon completion of general nephrology training, Dr. Suleiman moved to Canada where he undertook two years sub-specialty fellowship training in nephrology at Toronto University Hospital and Ontario Network. He has worked as a Nephrology Consultant and General Physician in University Hospital Waterford and Cork University Hospital.
Dr. Suleiman has special interest in the management of essential and secondary hypertension. He had completed and published research with his colleagues about blood pressure control in hemodialysis patients and has presented at various national and international scientific meetings.
