Dr. Jasmeet Kumari

Dr. Jasmeet Kumari has recently joined UPMC Aut Even Hospital as a Consultant Gynaecologist. She also serves as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny.

Dr. Kumari obtained MRCPI in 2014 and MRCOG (UK) in 2015 during her basic Obs/Gynae training in Ireland. She completed specialist Obs/Gynae training in Ireland rotating through different hospitals including, University Hospital Waterford, St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny, University Maternity Hospital Limerick, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, St. James’s Hospital Dublin, and Coombe Women and Infant Maternity Hospital Dublin.

Dr. Kumari completed BSCCP certification in colposcopy and obtained a diploma in Obstetric Ultrasound from UCD Dublin, a post graduate diploma in Health Profession & Education (PG Dip HPEC) from RCSI, and holds Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgeon certification from the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE).

After completion of Obs/Gynae training, she undertook a RCPI accredited Post CCST Fellowship in Maternal Medicine between Rotunda Hospital Dublin and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Dublin.

Dr. Kumari has a keen interest in research. She has presented at various national and international meetings and has published peer review articles in various journals.

Dr. Kumari has a special interest in benign gynaecology and maternal medicine.

• Cervical smears/cervical biopsies

• Laparoscopy
• Laparotomy for benign gynae including TAH/BSO
