Professional ProfileDr. Conor O’Riordan has over 15 years’ experience in radiology. He graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 2002 with MB, BAO, Bch, BMedSC. Between 2003 and 2005 he completed Basic Surgical Training (BST) in Cork University Hospital with an award of MRCSI from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Between 2005 and 2009 he completed Core Radiology Training in the Galway University Hospital radiology training scheme. His rotations included Paediatric Radiology (Temple Street Children’s Hospital) and Neuroradiology (Beaumont Hospital). In 2009 and 2010, he studied for his Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and Cross Sectional Imaging in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. During this time he was also a lecturer in radiology at University College Dublin (UCD). In 2010 and 2011, he studied a Fellowship in MR Imaging/Cross Sectional Imaging in St. James Hospital, Dublin. During this time he was also a lecturer in radiology at Trinity College Dublin (TCD). In 2011 and 2012 he was a consultant radiologist in Beacon Hospital Dublin, St. John’s Hospital Limerick and St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny-Carlow.
