Dr. Sabina Tabirca

Dr. Sabina Tabirca is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in endometriosis, advanced benign gynaecology, and complex pelvic surgery.

She graduated with honours from University College Cork and completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Ireland. During her higher specialist training, she undertook an RCPI-recognised fellowship in Complex Pelvic Surgery, developing advanced skills in minimally invasive and complex gynaecological surgery.

Following completion of specialist training, Dr .Tabirca worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist within the UL Hospitals Group, before joining Cork University Maternity Hospital as part of the specialist endometriosis team.

She is currently a permanent Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at University Hospital Waterford, where she has a particular focus on complex pelvic surgery and the development of endometriosis services.

Dr. Tabirca is also an accredited colposcopist and BSCCP trainer.
