Ms. Virga Varga

Ms. Varga was Clinical Lead in Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust and spearheaded the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) upgrade at her unit. She is renowned for her expertise in a wide range of glaucoma procedures, from minimally invasive interventions to complex filtration procedures and tube shunts. Having performed thousands of cataract operations, she has been a contributor to high-volume surgical centers.

Ms. Varga completed her medical and ophthalmic specialist training at Semmelweis University, Budapest. After relocating to the U.K., she pursued advanced surgical sub-specialty training at renowned institutions such as Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. With a career spanning over 20 years, she dedicated ten years as a consultant, including a noteworthy four year tenure as the Clinical Lead at Warrington and Halton Hospitals in the United Kingdom. Beyond surgical precision, Ms. Varga is deeply passionate about working collaboratively with patients as partners in their care journey.
