Mr. Irfan Yousaf

Mr. Irfan Yousaf has commenced his orthopaedic practice at UPMC Aut Even Hospital.

Mr. Irfan Yousaf obtained his basic medical degree from Pakistan and moved to Ireland in 2011 where he started his training in orthopaedics, initially as a Senior House Officer and Registrar at University Hospital Kerry for three years and then as Speciality Registrar at Cork University Hospital and University Hospital Galway for a further four years before returning to Cork University Hospital to work as Senior Registrar in trauma and orthopedics for another three years.

Mr. Yousaf has been a consultant at Cork University Hospital and University Hospital Kerry since 2023.

Mr. Yousaf was awarded a Fellowship from the European Board of Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2018. He passed his FRCS Trauma and Orthopaedic exam in May 2022. He completed his RCSI approved fellowship in lower limb reconstruction in July 2023. During his fellowship, Mr. Yousaf completed over 550 cases including elective Total Hip Replacements (primary and revision), Total Knee Replacements (primary and revision), ACL surgeries, patella stabilisations, and multi- ligament knee reconstructions at Cork University Hospital, Bon Secours Hospital, and South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital Cork, Ireland. Mr. Yousaf is registered with the Irish Medical Council. Mr. Yousaf has been a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at University Hospital Kerry since 2024.

Mr. Yousaf has published his research in the Irish Medical Journal, ESSKA, the European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery & Traumatology, and SVOA Orthopaedic. He has also presented at a number of international conferences.

With all his patients, Mr. Yousaf's primary aim is to improve patient outcomes through advanced surgical techniques, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care.
