New Health Screening Service Now Available at UPMC Outreach, Carlow

25 March 2024 – UPMC has launched a new Health Screening service at its Outreach Centre in Carlow. This extends UPMC’s service offering at the clinic and encourages individuals to take proactive steps towards their health and wellbeing.

Health Screening offers comprehensive assessments designed to assess various aspects of health. A review of each patient’s own and family medical history will be conducted, combined with a detailed physical examination that covers blood pressure, hearing tests, vision tests, as well cardio-respiratory and musculoskeletal health. A full blood analysis will also be conducted with additional tests and diagnostics undertaken, where indicated.

The service will be led by experienced clinicians, enabling timely intervention for many chronic conditions and diseases. UPMC’s Health Screening service takes a tailored approach for each patient, using state-of-the-art medical equipment and cutting-edge diagnostic tools to ensure accuracy and reliability in detecting potential health issues.
