Professional Profile

Peter Meagher graduated from the RCSI in 1989 and completed his basic surgical training in Dublin prior to specialising in plastic and reconstructive surgery, following a six-year training programme in London. Mr. Meagher spent time training at The Rayne Institute at UCL researching dupuytren’s disease. On completion of training, he did a three-year microsurgery fellowship at The Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery in Melbourne.

Mr Meagher has held consultant posts in both St. James’ Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospitals in Dublin.

  • Skin cancer, including malignant melanoma, squamous/basal cell carcinoma and benign skin lesions
